This shot was taken in September 2022 in a water cave in Davis Gulch, a tributary to the Escalante River, now an arm of Lake Powell. An excellent campsite and a place to escape the sun and rain. At that time, Lake Powell was relatively low, 170 feet below full. This campsite and the entire cave would disappear if the lake ever returned to its previously higher levels...
